Helpful Tips For Soldering

Soldering irons

Soldering irons are of little use if they aren’t hot enough to do the job. This means make absolutely sure you have an iron that cranks out enough juice to melt flux.

In between solders gently whip irons’ tip on moist sponge. Keeping iron tip in tip top shape…(excuse the pun) reduces chance of you soldering poor connections. In addition attempt to file tip of iron to a wedge or chisel point.

Unclean or tarnished rails can cause for slow running layouts or possible even failed operation. To avoid these set backs, use liquid flux on areas in question before touching hot metal to cold rails!

These few hints, tips and tricks of the trade will save you a great deal of unwanted, cumbersome  concerns.
